I regret for me--and I am happy for her--to announce that
SF is resigning from The [important organization]
effective July 25th. That's next month folks!

The time of one's life is all that he or she really has in his or her own possession. You own your own time on this Earth. . That's about all you own .
For fourteen years (14) she has not just given me time. She has given her life to me, my official and extended family here---all of you, to the [important people]
of this nation and yes, she has given to my personal family too--to me, Carlotta and our children and our grandchildren, all 26 of us
C's, R's, A's and
J's.
And she has given to our [important organization]
Presidents, all 14 of them, and she has served the thousands of member
[important people] and helped me in ways that no one will ever know guide us through the ups and downs, avoiding the perils, to emerge with great victories in this agile and mobile organization that has to keep ahead of this changing life and world of the most exciting dynamic people and places in the world--the [important people]
of the United States and the [important places]
they govern
In the Bible, Ezelkiel 3:17, we know from reading that the The Lord chose Ezekiel to be the watchman for the House of Israel. The Bible also says that the city will not survive if the watchman waneth.
S to us , as in the Bible, she has been the watchWOMAN(excuse me King James!) at the gate of The House of The
[important people].
And we can attest to the truth of her divine performance, that
S has not waned. .
And-- yes, to bring it on up into the modern pop world-- as in The Godfather and The Sopranos. She can cover you. What I mean is-- she knows how to watch your back. The back has to be watched in the shark infested city of Washingtin DC USA.
She has been the city woman traffic cop slap dab in in the middle of early morning and late afternoon rush hour traffic in a flood tornado hail storm and blizzard all combined. . It moves because she is there
It moves you through it.
It moves you through Amercan train stations American airports-hotels, motels, taxicabs, vans and limousines in American cities and cities throughout the world. . You get it done. Then.you go home. And you wait for the next day--the dawn--and then as sure as the sun rises she begins for me, for you, for all of us-- behind the desk at the gate, watching over me and all of you at 8:30 sharp, not 8:35 or a quarter to nine. Pure unadulterated duty. She reeks with professionalism.
She is strong and pleasant, but always the firm professional midwesterner who can be tough and at the time when it all seems to be tumbling down and I am in a southern Irish rage, , she makes me laugh, rather than cry.
Her loyalty, the depth of it, is a remarkable and wondrous thing ---deeper than the deepest ocean. It goes to the bottom. It aint like that in this town with a lot of folks and friends. .
Change? We have had a lot of unexpected change recently and we have heard a lot about change in this election year.
We live with change here at The [important organization]
.
Change is our middle name.
Every year we get a new boss.
And every day something happens in an American [important place]
that has not happened before. And yes we can live with this change .
But this change is a challenge.
. Without
S, I will need you---more than ever.
We thank
SF for what she has given, what she has added to our lives and to our great organization. Its better and bigger and stronger because of her.
She has given me the strength
to carry on.
We rejoice with the happiest of thoughts that she will now have her own precious time with
C, her children and grandchildren in Minnesota and California.

SF and her family-- as she leaves us next month. We salute her. We thank her and we want nothing but the best for her as she has for so many years given the best of her life to ALL of us.
